2012 Pan-Pacific Festival
In June 2012, Sendai Ikuei Gakuen's cheerleading team and PTA hula group, the I-Lion Hula Girls, participated in Hawaii's annual Pan-Pacific Festival to promote I-Lion Hawaii School, and also to say "mahalo" to the local community which supported the school the previous year. The cheerleaders and hula dancers put on performances at various locations during the entirety of the festival, which spanned three days from Friday, June 8th to Sunday, June 10th.

The cheerleading team consisted of eight girls from Sendai Ikuei Gakuen high school in Japan, three of which were also ILHA alumni. They performed an elaborate, high-energy cheer routine which included jumps, chanting, human pyramids, and more. They were able to show their school pride and were met with very positve reactions from the crowd.
The hula team was made up of seven members of Sendai Ikuei Gakuen's PTA as well as their instructor, school teacher Ms. Yoko Azumi. Their program consisted of two group dances and a solo performance by Ms. Azumi. The I-Lion Hula Girls won a spirit award for their graceful performances.
